Submission Guidelines
1. Only images submitted by Members of FriendsOfMCRWR.org will be considered for posting or publication.
Members may apply for membership here:

2. Images must be at least 900 pixels wide. Higher resolution is fine, but will most likely be resized to 900 pixels wide for posting or publication.
3. Images must support the goals of FriendsOfMCRWR.org. The decision to post or publish an image is entirely the privilege and responsibility of the board of directors and the website manager of FriendsOfMCRWR.org.
4. Image filenames should include the following information:
Date Photographer name Subject
As an example, an image of a trumpeter swan photographed by Jerry Nichols on February 7, 2011, should have the following filename:
2011-0207-jerry-nichols-trumpeter-swan.jpg
Identifying the specific species is very helpful for images submitted to the Photo Gallery. The Gallery is arranged by order, genus and species. Any help in identifying a subject would be greatly appreciated by the website manager!

Terms of Use
The following is a legal agreement between the Members of FriendsOfMCRWR.org and the owners and operators of FriendsOfMCRWR.org.
By using the website Members agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If Members do not agree with the Terms of Use, please do not use this website. This agreement may be revised or updated without notice. Members are advised to review it regularly.
The Website contains images submitted by its Members. Only images submitted by Members will be considered for posting and publication. Members who submit images to FriendsOfMCRWR.org grant free and unlimited right of use of the images to FriendsOfMCRWR.org. All images and their descriptions on the Website are the property of FriendsOfMCRWR.org. FriendsOfMCRWR.org cannot be held liable for any losses or damages resulting from the inaccurary of any information on the website.
Members may submit photographs or graphics to the website, and FriendsOfMCRWR.org will screen these submissions to see if they are suitable for distribution. FriendsOfMCRWR.org agrees not to sell these Images under any circumstances and not to distribute them outside the website. Members acknowledge that under no circumstances can they demand money from FriendsOfMCRWR.org. Members may ask payment for a higher resolution version of an image, but only if the image is not stored on the FriendsOfMCRWR.org website. Furthermore, Members acknowledge that FriendsOfMCRWR.org does not allow the submission of Images that infringe on any copyright, property right, trademark or any other applicable right.
Members are solely responsible for the Images they submit. Members warrant that they own all proprietary rights regarding the image and that they transfer to FriendsOfMCRWR.org all proprietory rights regarding the image. Images depicting identifiable persons requires that they do their best to obtain a valid, legal and signed Model release from those parties.
Members acknowledge that even though FriendsOfMCRWR.org does our best to prevent it from happening, FriendsOfMCRWR.org cannot be held responsible for the misuse or abuse of any Image. We also reserve the right to remove any approved image at any time if we believe it is defective, of poor quality or infringe on any right. Serious copyright infringement issues such as submitting Images found on other stock photography sites violates the terms of this agreement and may result in the termination of their Membership.
Model release
By submitting recognisable images of people, Members acknowledge their personal responsibility to provide a signed, written model release upon request.
Generic model releases are available free of charge from many places on the internet. We suggest Members type "generic model releases" into a search engine to find one. An example of a general model release can also be downloaded here.
Termination
FriendsOfMCRWR.org can terminate any Membership account for any reason after sending the Member a written notice as proof of identity. Upon termination FriendsOfMCRWR.org removes all Member images from the website. Members acknowledge that because of copyright infringement or other kinds of serious or malicious acts, they may face even more serious consequences.
Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FriendsOfMCRWR.org and its officers, administrators and volunteer workers against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, arising out of or related to a breach of this agreement, the use of this site and the use or the inability of use of any image, the member's failure to abide by any restriction regarding the use of an Image, or any claim by a third party related to the use of an image.
Warranty and Liability
THE WEBSITE AND THE IMAGES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". WE OFFER NO WARRANTY, EXPLICIT OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY IMAGES, THE WEBSITE, THE ACCURACY OF ANY INFORMATION, OR ANY RIGHTS OR LICENSES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
FRIENDSOFMCRWR.ORG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO MEMBERS OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY GENERAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, COSTS OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF THEIR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR THE IMAGES SUBMITTED BY ITS MEMBERS.
